David Ankers Another member of AlBenAza, another cracking artist. This EP is another perfect example of stripped back pop carried out to perfection. The space is the lead track is enticing; and the melody suits it perfectly. Reminds me of another adopted Plymouthian, Tom Van Eker in places. Perhaps there's something in the water. If there is, I need a barrel load more of it. Great stuff. Favorite track: At The Same Time.

at the same time, in the same place as before there's a black line, by your face, i ignore and i miss you, like never before and i miss you, like never before Won't you run home, won't you call back, tonight when the time comes, take the last train, alright. and i miss you, like never before and i miss you, like never before its the last dance, it's our last chance, my love i will wait here, till the moon climbs, above

Nothing Else 05:08
Take the weight off your back and get out of the cold There's no time to ask, to have or to hold like fire in the wind, you leap and you soar and I'm left in the glare, the earth and the spoil I'm in the battle of my life, there's a blood red rose and a blood red knife don't leave indifferent, in despair, is better than a vacant stare So give me your best, or give me your worst but i ain't got nothing else You're hot and your cold, you're this and your that and I've grown to despair, of a well with no cap So where is the gold and where is the light? I'm done getting young, you're done doing right Let the north wind blow, let the reapers sow My love, my love, my love

Dreamers 04:00
I see the light on your face in the darkness It's been a long night I see the world in your face in the future I hope you feel alright, do you feel alright? Well I've been out on the town with the dreamers It's been a long night everybody changes and everybody moves on I hope you feel alright, do you feel alright? I hope you'll take the chance, to see where it all ends, it's gonna take time forgive me if im strange, plans must come with age and be refined When you feel your luck is down When it doesn't go right write a letter, put it down onto paper I hope you feel alright, do you feel alright? I hope you'll take the chance, to see where it all ends, it's gonna take time forgive me if im strange, plans must come with age and be refined I'll help you if i can, a broken also ran thats far behind I'll hammer down the turf and run for all I'm worth its gonna take time its gonna take time

Darling, I thought you were lost now, I'm left counting the cost the story is etched on a page burnt at the edges, dusty and grey through fire and the falling snow, won't you return, call off the show Are you worried of whispers? the heart on your sleeve has it gone?. Take a shine to the memory as they fell into line one by one I feel like a fool on a wire so please set me free The darkness below makes me tired, as you take what you need, you take what you need. Find the courage to conquer, a break in the storm, what some may treasure, the others will scorn, You gave what you could, from the dark worried and reckless at heart torn out and thrown to the wind hear me in rushes, a bird on the wing
